Lacy phacelia fields

I was so happy to see these fields of phacelia in nearby farmland, the flowers are such a pretty colour! Apparently this crop is used as a green fertiliser - so the farmer will dig it back into the soil before the flowers go to seed. It was very reminiscent of lavender fields!
