Room portraits - I can paint your special place

I have a passion for painting living spaces from the humble and cosy to the grand and luxurious. Rooms with a view, dining rooms, kitchens, living rooms, bedrooms, boudoirs, even sheds, barns and garages provide so much inspiration to me and are begging to be painted! I now have limited availability to take on room and garden commissions. Would you like me to visit to paint a room portrait of your own special place? I live in Lincolnshire in the UK but I'm happy to travel around the UK and to Europe/USA/Canada.

Favourite furniture and prized possessions, even pets and family members can make this painting something you'll truly treasure for life.

Or would you like a painting of your favourite coffee spot in your holiday home so that you can picture it every day when you're not there?

At the arranged date I will visit you with my easel and paint the room from life. Small and medium paintings will only need one session, large paintings or extra complicated ones may take two or three days. The painting at the top of this page, 'Morning light in the studio' is 28" x 30" and an example of a painting needing multiple sessions. 'Kindly light' above, 12" x 9", is an example of a small painting needing only one session plus a few finishing touches and framing back in the studio.

Although I much prefer working from life it is sometimes possible to work from photographs, if the reference images are of sufficient quality.
